20 Books of Summer (except that it’s Winter)

Annabel from AnnaBookBel is hosting the 20 Books of Summer reading challenge this year. The challenge is straightforward – read the books between June 1st and August 31st. I reckon this is the most relaxed reading challenge you can participate in (swap books out, change your target, do whatever).

As I’ve done in previous years, I’m using this challenge to read predominantly from my to-be-read stack and to fill a few other reading challenge gaps.

Of course, it’s winter in Melbourne. So while Annabel et al. are enjoying the northern hemisphere sunshine, I’ll be rugging up. I’m delighted we have a special logo for those of us wintering 🙂

Here is my Summer (Winter) reading list (with spots free for book group selections and whatever else takes my fancy):

01. Soft Serve by George Kemp
02. Death of an Ordinary Man by Sarah Perry

  1. The only one I’ve read is no. 1, and I liked it a lot. I haven’t heard of a few of the others so look forward to your report.

How was Vienna et al. Any recommendations. We are going to there at the end of August.
