01. MIFF program release! As always, planning what to see requires a little effort (250+ films running over three weeks). On my list are Yellow Letters, The Incomer, Blue Heron and How to Divorce During the War (plus dozens of others). Continue reading

01. Fun to sing the song for the sixth week in a row! Continue reading

01. Cocktails and snacks at The Florence – it’s newish; they have a negroni menu; and helpfully the kitchen is open until 1am. A Piazza Rosa above (Campari, hibiscus, gin and raspberries) and sensational oysters with negroni granita below. Continue reading

01. A wild (early morning) swim at Golden Point, near Castlemaine. It was a brisk four degrees but… invigorating! Continue reading

01. What’s your damage, Heather? Just lots of laughs at the very dark, absolutely brilliant Heathers the Musical. Continue reading

You know when a comedian mentions something that you had completely forgotten and suddenly it’s hilarious? (that for SSR – Sustained Silent Reading – with Tom Sainsbury, and continuous cricket with Geraldine Hickey). All were fantastic but if you have a chance to see Daniel Foxx, grab it. Continue reading

01. It’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival time. Have been to a couple of shows: Continue reading
