01. My favourite shades of blue (I took a few days off work this week and got in two extra swims).
02. My eldest son finished school – hardly the Year 12 celebrations they expected but they marked the occasion as best they could.
03. The Vow (on Foxtel in Aus) is quite gripping, isn’t it? I’ve resisted the urge to google what happens.
04. Our camellia trees are doing some of their best work ever…
05. My walking buddy and I have embarked on a new project – we’re walking all of the Yarra within our 25km zone (that’s essentially from Mt Lofty in Wonga Park to where the Yarra meets the Bay). We’re tracking our progress on Strava, and obviously the titles of each walk are hilarious (to us).
Look at this water level marker measured in feet (under the Johnston Street bridge). The ex-hydrologist in me loves it.
06. The Miami Pink Gin Spritz was delicious (but it has already sold out!). Hopefully next time I drink it, it will be at Arbory Afloat.
07. My friend delivered a special cupcake in time for an online convo about his new book (memoir? self-help? ‘prescribes, wisdom bombs and bumper stickers’?)
Great post, and your camellia flower is beautiful.
What Thoughts said – that camellia is beautiful.
So your first child has finished school. How exciting. A whole new world for him and you. He was have such a story to tell his grandchildren about his last year of school.
“will have”
That cupcake is brilliant 😀
Gorgeous camellia!
It makes such a change to see a cupcake without a mountain of goo on the top :!
That camellia is beautiful! Almost as beautiful as your Matthew cupcake 🙂
Interesting time of year to finish school. Very different from here in the USA. Good luck to him!
Well, it’s the end of the year, so it fits! 😃
It all ends in May or June here.
