Feeling: jealous, terrified and excited all at the same time (because one of my kids has been selected for a voyage on this next year)
Coveting: a ‘handwritten manuscript’ of The Great Gatsby, complete with Fitzgerald’s annotations (Lizzy alerted me to this)
Listening: Mostly audiobooks (my library finally added to their meagre collection) but I loved this podcast episode
Making: Nutella brownies – obscene amount of Nutella but the swirls on top are essential
Needing: to refer to this for 2020 holiday planning
Reading: Four books which is one too many for me
Watching: Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds
Wearing: earrings from Type C (typewriter striker arms with a pop of yellow)
Aiming: to consolidate my qualifications for grief counselling… but also can’t believe I’m considering more study
Loving: what’s on offer from MTC in 2020 – in particular, I can’t wait for the Benjamin Law, Joanna Murray-Smith, and more Shakespeare given the Kate Miller-Heidke treatment.
What a fabulous adventure for your kid!
The Nutella brownies look wonderful. I have this on my list of things to make: https://www.theguardian.com/food/2018/dec/22/tamal-rays-chilled-nutella-chocolate-pot-recipe
Ohhh. That looks good. I’ll give it a try.
Let me know how you get on
I loved Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds – is it the channel 4 one or did they make an Australian version? It made me cry happy tears every time!
They’ve made an Australian one (but based in the channel 4 series). It’s making me cry every week (and think of that book, A Man Called Ove).
the only problem with nutella is that its very high in hydrogenated fats…..
That is a beautiful ship!
