Today’s Top Ten Tuesday effort might be my laziest one yet. Because of this:
I went back to training today after a two week break. I truthfully told my trainer I’d only eaten three Easter eggs. I failed to mention these:
Anyway, all that eating, digesting and trying to put up a good show during this morning’s hill sprints has worn me out. So when it came to turning my mind to The Broke and the Bookish Top Ten Tuesday topic – Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger – my first thought was ‘Emma’s List’ and my next thought was my list of favourite books.
So, my top ten is actually a top two (but is also a top 80 if you want to be pedantic about it…)
1. Emma’s List – My friend Emma and her family are on a long road trip. They’re camping. She bought herself a Kindle before the trip and asked me “So, what should I read?”. So I made her a list. It’s a long list (in no particular order of fabulousness).
2. My Very Favourite Books (of all time) – it’s a motley collection but all have a special place on my shelf.
Fabulous lists as always. How long is Emma’s road trip – a year?
It’s only a four month trip so she might not (won’t) get through the whole list!
Such a well-rounded and varied list. Most of the books you mentioned, I also love. The others I haven’t read. Sigh.
It might be a lazy list but love the pictures! 😀 The Great Gatsby. I need to read this book. IT seems that it’s a lot of people’s favourite and I want to have read the novel before I go see the film. Hope you had a great Easter!
You MUST read it before you see the movie! It’s a short book.
I particularly like your Favorites list! Several of those are on my all-time favorites list, too. And it’s a good idea for a post or even a page — mind if I borrow it? (with my own list, of course!)
Of course – borrow away!
Ah I really want to read The Great Gatsby! Must try and fit it in soon. Fab list.
Try to read it before the movie is released!
I’ve read and loved many of these books as well! Thanks for visiting my TTT.
I am going to read The Book Thief soon!! At least, that’s what I’ve been telling myself. I also really want to re-read The Great Gatsby.
