Twitter Fiction Festival

I think I’ve already mentioned once this week how much I love Twitter… But I have reason to say it again.

Twitter Fiction Festival is about to kick-off. It’s five days of virtual storytelling held entirely on Twitter.

Following other literary Twitter experiments (including Jennifer Egan’s Black Box), the Festival will include a retelling of Henry James’s The Turn of the Screw by Canadian author Andrew Pyper and the retelling of one hundred Greek myths condensed into one hundred tweets by British children’s author Lucy Coats. Apparently Pyper is setting his ghost story in the White House – it really can’t be missed.
