01. It’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival time. Have been to a couple of shows:

• Nikki Britton – she’s a comic genius (who knew a spinach cob could be a person’s introduction to taking down the patriarchy?).
• Danielle Walker – I laughed… but I almost cried as well (her stories about her granddad were sweet).

02. Watching: Rooster (HBO). It’s funny.

03. Watched: Dave Not Coming Back (Youtube) – a distressing but gripping cave-diving documentary (cave-diving terrifies me – perhaps because I’ve done some caving and some diving, and know the risks of both).

04. Crying about the end of daylight savings but loving the Easter moon. And Easter eggs, obvs.

05. The programs for the German Film Festival and the inaugural Ukrainian Film Festival have been released – particularly looking forward to 22 Bahnen (based on the novel by Caroline Wahl).

06. Yay! Olivia Rodrigo has announced a new album.

07. Eating: the insanely delicious (but simple) zucchini pizza at Leonardo’s Pizza Palace (is it the smoked mozzarella or the hot honey that lifts it…?).

08. Julia Baird taking six-months ‘watery’ long-service with a book to come? Can’t wait.

09. A milestone at spin (and I broke a few PBs for good measure).
