
01. A night in Warburton for some walks among tall trees. Restorative.

02. After ten months working overseas, one of my babies is home for a visit. So, so good to have him back.
03. All sorted for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival – a good mix of comedians I’ve seen before and some I haven’t.
04. Hate cold weather, detest snow but love the winter Olympics (especially the ice-skating and the downhill skiing).
05. Related: I’m watching Glitter & Gold (Netflix) – loving the drama.
06. My favourite candle is now a room spray.
07. I love every swim but a particularly stunning day this week.

1. I Iived for a while in a caravan in Warburton (1974?). The upper Yarra valley is lovely.
7. I miss the peace of swimming in largely empty outdoor pools (all those years of winter training). I’m getting closer to talking myself in to going back.
I try to get a weekend or two in the Upper Yarra valley each year – walking by the river and amongst the Mountain Ash always recharges my batteries.
