01. An early RISING announcement and it could not be better – Miranda July! Mini-golf! Flinders Street Ballroom! (image)

02. First MTC production of the year – the very, very funny Never Have I Ever. It’s satire – leaning heavily on the theme of white (male) privilege – so the Melbourne theatre crowd all laughed along, slightly uncomfortably, as we clutched our glasses of sparkling.

03. My first O-Week in a quite a few years (I’d forgotten how ridiculous university administration is) and access to the first week of content – most looking forward to the neuroscience subject.

04. Saw the latest (and I think the last?) Bridget Jones installment. I didn’t remember enough about the book to compare but the movie was entertaining and Bridget can still make me laugh and cry.

05. Summer rain.

06. BLTs on PeP ciabatta (for dinner)

07. Watching: yes, I’m on the Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix) bandwagon (I was fascinated by this when it was happening at the time) and Playing Nice (SBS).

08. Listening: more early-release songs from Lucy Dacus’s forthcoming album.
