01. I’m officially on holidays – thrilling given that in the past few years I’ve worked up until 5pm on Christmas Eve! And because I haven’t had a break from work since May. (image above)
02. Three Christmas events, all with old friends –
- Greek feast (is there any way to go out for Greek that isn’t a feast??) with my mothers group at the ever-reliable Hellenis in Surrey Hills
- brunch at The Boot Factory with uni friends met via hydrology study
- garden party with friends met while my kids were at primary school (more than 15 years ago, now)
03. Watched: WHAM! Last Christmas Unwrapped (SBS). Made me cry all over again.
04. Watching: started working my way through SBS’s list of the best movies of 2024.
05. We all know Freckles are the best lollies, so obviously Festive Freckles are the best Christmas lollies.

Those festive freckles really are in a class of their own, agree!
Technically they don’t taste any different but the colours are fun.
I looked into my spam folder today and found that most of the messages from WordPress, including the emails about your posts, were in it, along with those of other bloggers. That explains why I never get these messages. So, I am 67 emails behind on my read other people’s posts. Sigh. That’s why I’m responding to this one so late.
