01. I’m a day late because I’ve just returned from (R)Adelaide. The purpose of my trip? To sail on Brindabella. It exceeded all expectations. Already plotting how I can wangle a longer voyage.

02. Stayed in a very cool hotel in Port Adelaide, with a mid-century/ Palm Springs vibe…

03. …and the highlight in terms of food was a fried potato gnocchi with ricotta cream, roasted pumpkin and nasturtium pesto, with a toasted rye bread crumbled over the top at Peter Rabbit Garden Cafe. So delicious.

04. Rising 2024 program has been revealed. Events that have caught my eye: 24 Hour Rock Show; One Song; The Rivers Sing; Shouse; and Pay the Rent.
05. German Film Festival program launch.
06. These brownies. Yes, they’re a bit fiddly but the results are well worth it.
07. Finally got up-to-date with Vanderpump Rules. The ‘scandal’ outraged me. Truly.
Thanks to my partner’s newly diagnosed elevated cholesterol level, those brownies will have to remain a dream.
Yes, best to avoid these ones 🙁

Thank you – adding nasturtium pesto to my RTBT (recipe to be tried) list!
It was deliciously peppery
