01. A spin milestone – 25 rides. Never expected when I started in April that Cyclebar would become one of my happy places.
02. My first British Film Festival choice – One Life. I bawled.
03. Watching: obsessed with Diagnosis (based on the NYT column). Everything about this show sucked me in from the get-go – Dr Lisa Sanders ‘crowd-sources’ a medical diagnosis. I wish, very deeply, that I had something to contribute (apart from my best friend, Dr Google).
04. Love making complex reading plans in November. Almost as good as the actual reading.
05. It will upset the Nutella purists but this is better.
06. I was picking up a cannoli cake for my friend’s birthday this week and my cannoli supplier (we all have one, right?) informed me of a forthcoming cannoli innovation – they’ve just ordered a new machine from Italy that lines the cannoli with chocolate so that they can filled in advance and not go soggy. Excellent news.
07. I won’t bore you with my long story about finding a mascara to replace (first) MAC False Lashes and (second) Smashbox Full Exposure… but have found one that’s even better than those two combined – Pat McGrath FetishEYES. Best.
08. Look at the weather forecast for the week ahead – HOORAY!

Spin class and happy place are not phrases I associate with each other but I’m glad it worked out that way for you 😀
I didn’t think I’d use spin and happy place in the same sentence either – it has been such a surprise.
I must take a look at the British Film Festival lineup. We try to go and see at least one film at each festival.
I’m going to a couple this year but juggling with the huge selection at Jewish International Film Festival, which is on at the same time.
I too love my November reading plans. I have a list and a chart although whether I manage all I have planned is a whole other issue…
Yes, my plans have had to move to a list (not at chart stage). I won’t get through the list but whatever is left rolls over to 2024.
