Sample Saturday is when I wade through the eleventy billion samples I have downloaded on my Kindle. I’m slowly chipping away and deciding whether it’s buy or bye.
The Lesser Bohemians by Eimear McBride
Why I have it: Had it for ages on my Kindle.
Summary: Upon her arrival in London, an 18-year-old Irish girl begins anew as a drama student. She struggles to fit in but then meets an attractive older man. He’s an established actor and the inevitable clamorous relationship that ensues is one that will change her forever.
I’m thinking: Maybe (but will read the other McBride I have first).
Rouge by Mona Awad
Why I have it: Because I enjoyed Bunny.
Summary: After the unexpected death of her mother, a lonely dress shop clerk goes down a treacherous path in pursuit of youth and beauty. Described as Snow White meets Eyes Wide Shut, this gothic fairy tale features an obsession with a mirror and a cryptic video about a transformative spa experience.
I’m thinking: Maybe (anyone else read it?)
Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll
Why I have it: Because of Catherine’s review.
Summary: January 1978. A serial killer has terrorized women across the Pacific Northwest, but his existence couldn’t be further from the minds of the young women at a sorority on Florida State’s campus in Tallahassee. They plan a night out, except for Pamela Schumacher, who makes the unpopular decision to stay in. That decision saves her life. Her sorority sisters meet a different fate.
I’m thinking: Yes.

I’ve read the McBride but I can’t remember much about it. Rouge sounds interesting!
