01. Smoked carp pâté, house-made lavosh and a German Chasselas at Cardwell Cellars. Everything so delicious. And undergraduate-Cartography-101-me loves the wall of wine, organised not by grape variety but by country, as a Robinson map projection.

02. German Film Festival program has been released – my priorities are Family Affairs, Merkel, The Teachers’ Lounge, Sisi & I, and In a Land That No Longer Exists.

03. Officially in countdown mode – I’m on holiday in less than two weeks.

04. Watched: Love Me S2 (Binge/Foxtel) – as good as S1.

05. Watching: Succession S4. Greg is still my favourite.

06. My son went to a music festival last week and correctly identified that I would have loved the DJ, Hot Dub Time Machine.

07. Easter dinner with dear friends: broke out the spit for slow-roasted lamb, and the delicious (and dead easy) limoncello tiramisù.
