I hadn’t heard of either but after reading your review of the book, I am reminded of Jodi Picoult’s fiction. I don’t disagree about the misplaced resources or perhaps the consideration of resources. Similarly, the money raised and then spent on elections is horrifying when you think about those who can’t pay their rent or buy food.
