02. Tara June Winch’s novel, The Yield, winning the Miles Franklin.
03. Golden Girls puzzle.
04. Rosehaven S4.
05. That coloured vinyl is a thing again (this album will sit alongside my transparent yellow copy of Parade by Spandau Ballet).
06. It was supposed to be the International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Melbourne this week – thankfully the organisers managed some webinars and I have listened to amazing speakers over the last few days (including my heroes, attachment guru Phyllis Kosminsky, and existential psychotherapist Emmy van Deurzen).
07. Finally got a Westish Harpooners tee.
08. Pimm’s rhubarb and raspberry crumble (that’s a pre-crumble pic below) and s’mores brownies – both insanely good.
1 and 8 I can relate to! There’s an Italian fruit & veg shop on the road north out of Adelaide (Virginia, I think) where I can pull up for supplies and they have excellent cannoli. But home-delivered, no, I’m eating too much already.
Oh my goodness…the cannoli looks AMAZING! That would make me very happy as well. I love the idea of listing things that make you happy.
I spotted your crumble and those cannoli on Twitter. Both looked scrumptious!
We did delivered pastries this week! They were so good and gourmet marshmallows a few weeks ago. Cannoli sounds like it could be on our agenda.
I’ve probably told you before, but I met Tara June Winch at the Jaipur Literature Festival and she was the most fun so I am delighted for her win!
