Sample Saturday – for the longest time…

Sample Saturday is when I wade through the eleventy billion samples I have downloaded on my Kindle. I’m slowly chipping away and deciding whether it’s buy or bye.

This week I’ve selected the three samples that have been on my Kindle the longest (and I can’t remember why I have them).

Caesarion by Tommy Wieringa

Summary: A modern retelling of the story of Little Caesar (the child of Julius Caesar and the abandoned Cleopatra), set in Suffolk.

I’m thinking: No.

Sixteen Shades of Crazy by Rachel Trezise

Summary: In a tiny village in Wales, the new police chief has declared war on recreational drugs (resulting in an 18-month drought). Desperate for thrills, things change for the locals when a mysterious man arrives in town.

I’m thinking: No.

Steeplechase by Krissy Kneen

Summary: Bec’s sister, Emily, calls after a 23 year absence. Emily, a famous artist, lives in Beijing and asks Bec to visit. The trip triggers memories of their childhood.

I’m thinking: Yes.
