01. We went to the cricket for International Women’s Day. It was spectacular (the result; being part of such a big crowd for a women’s sporting event; and Katy Perry and her dancing cricket bats).

02. I always look closely at the Sydney Writers Festival program because the visiting international authors often pop down to Melbourne as part of the Wheeler Centre’s Mayhem program (get excited about Lisa Taddeo, Leslie Jamison and Siri Hustvedt).
