Bookish (and not so bookish) Thoughts

01. One morning last week, as I was taking the kids to school, I looked up… And this is what I saw. A nice reminder to pause every now and then.

02. Day one of S-Town and I’m already bingeing… Which is lucky because I finished listening to Missing Richard Simmons (also brilliant).

03. I don’t know… 3240 just doesn’t seem like that many.

04. I loved this story about Grey Gardens. Made me think of Claire Fuller’s Swimming Lessons.

05. Alzheimer’s has had a great impact on my family (and will continue to), so I read these two articles (here and here) with great interest.

06. I’d like to win the lotto and do this, please.

07. How good is Feud?! I’m addicted. Sarandon and Lange are brilliant – the original Mean Girls with loads more style.

08. Mixtapes, top fives and an in-depth look at a soundtrack (not just for Hornby fans).

09. Just inserting a tiny little whinge here about all the reading I have to do for uni… It’s an insane amount. And it means I have far less time for the ‘fun stuff’.

  1. I don’t envy you your Uni reading. I struggle to even read requested books that don’t interest me at the moment.

And yes, I wanna win lotto too. But just so I don’t have to work. And so I can get more airconditioners. And a new computer. And new TV. And get my septic water pump fixed. And a new letter box. Plus $1m for spending. #thatisall
