Lately (Autumn Edition)

Wanting: to go to lots of things at the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (so far have only booked this – inspired by the glorious Hollywood Bowl at Eau de Vie)
Aiming: to tear through the Stella Prize 2017 longlist
Feeling: Excited about uni starting
Making: prints with Picture Postie
Drinking: Vermouth – either with dry (I know, so seventies) or in a Negroni (because: gin)
Eating: Pumpkin seeds covered in dark chocolate. I’m addicted
Reading: Wasted by Elspeth Muir
Watching: In Treatment
Anticipating: Hong Kong
Listening: to Cantonese language CDs with my nine-year-old
Enjoying: reading bloggers’ Baileys Prize longlist predictions
Loving: new scarf from Smitten (so soft, so light, will be so warm once winter hits)
Needing: to finish some work that’s been on my desk for way too long
Coveting: silver brogues (don’t ask how many pairs of silver shoes I own…)
Wishing: I could get into the habit of going to bed earlier
Wearing: Gin by Commodity

  1. Those scarves are lovely! I love scarves… I was just shopping for some yesterday but didn’t take anything home. Love this post type. 🙂

    • I reckon scarves are like artwork – if you go shopping specifically for those things you never find anything quite right and then when you’re not looking (or can least afford it), bingo.
