01. My (almost annual) Reading Holiday – away with two friends; I read one book (Patchett) and started another (Perry); had two glorious walks by the ocean (I never get tired of fossicking by the shore); and basically the BEST, most relaxing time.
02. The Booker Prize longlist – haven’t had enough time to look at each title but my initial thoughts: Stuart is the winner.
03. Watching: S2 The Pitt (HBO) and started watching Girls (HBO) again, because I’m listening to Lena Dunham’s memoir, Famesick.
04. I am doing a group assignment at university and what’s going down is next level cray-cray. Why do I mention it on ‘things that are making me happy’? Well, I guess I’m not overly invested, so can file it under ‘My Most Memorable Group-Work Experiences’.
I’ve always found wandering on the beach to be rejuvenating. Reading Holiday. What a good idea.
Reading Holidays are the greatest! We each take a stack of books, spend the time reading but come together for meals.
