Things That Are Making Me Happy This Week

01. What’s your damage, Heather? Just lots of laughs at the very dark, absolutely brilliant Heathers the Musical.

02. Kitty Flanagan at the Comedy Festival. I’d say ‘go see it’ but tonight was the last night of the Festival (and it’s been an excellent year).

03. Basically all of my shoes are silver but that doesn’t mean I don’t need some new ones to wear to Eurovision…

04. Little Audrey (Melbourne’s ‘Skipping Girl‘) has been temporarily turned off and replaced with Scrolling Girl, to highlight the detrimental impact of excessive screen time on kids physical activity.

05.Watching: Chess Mates (Netflix) – my goodness, there were things I never thought I’d hear in the same sentence as the word ‘chess’.

06. Two upcoming movie adaptations to look forward to – The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen (Netflix series starring Meryl Streep) and Strangers by Belle Burden (also Netflix, starring Gwyneth Paltrow).

07. That my spin instructor played Delta’s Eurovision entry… and that we got to have a lengthy talk about it after the class. We both reckon it’s a solid contender. And to all of my overseas readers, please send some votes our way!
