01. A fabulous night at the Westwood | Kawakubo exhibition at the NGV. The breadth of the work over many decades was astounding. The detail in all of the pieces, but particularly Kawakub’s was incredible (and my daughter who is planning on studying textiles next year was in heaven).

02. Very, very happy to have one of my sons arrive home for a Christmas visit this week.
03. Cooking: brownie pudding.
04. Random products that I’m loving: these weird socks; Christmas edition mint Lindor balls; this dusting mitt (how have I gone so long without one of these?!); this Greek dip; these pillow cases.
05. I popped into Ramona Books to pick up the January book group selection, and ended up staying an hour, chatting about books. Lovely.
06. Delicious things eaten: grilled calamari with lime leaf chilli dressing at Straight Outta Saigon (paired with their refreshing Watermelon Sugar cocktail); burrata with ajo blanco sauce and chilli oil at East End; spicy chicken skewers with an amazing chilli and grilled pineapple salsa at Tres a Cinco.
07. My favourite song off TayTay’s recent album is Opalite. This guy gave it an eighties treatment and it works so well.
08. Live music on a school night is always fun (The Buoys at 170 Russell Street, better known as Billboard to my generation!)

09. One more day of work before a couple of weeks break…
Those textiles are breath-taking!
Wow! What an outfit! So bold to put all those plaids together!
No kids (or grandkids) for xmas this year, for the first time in I wonder how many years. Just a quiet day with inlaws of my own generation.
What an amazing looking textile exhibition! Have a wonderful Christmas with the family x
