01. Thrilled to be at Hamer Hall for Wankernomics #pinchingmyself (sorry if the pic above is triggering for anyone who has worked in an organisation…).
02. Salty snacks and crisp cocktails in the booth at Apollo Inn with people who are so, so dear to me.
03. Watching: bits of a bunch of things including Victoria Beckham (Netflix), The Deathcap Murders (Stan), and The Final Show (Disney).
04. Watched: Train Dreams (Netflix), a film based on the novella by Denis Johnson. Stunning. Watch it.
05. My spin instructor has great playlists that always include blasts from the past (she’s young but her parents must be my age, and they sometimes suggest songs!). Anyway, this week, one I’d completely forgotten about –
06. Lunch at Heide, with a glorious walk by the river afterwards.
07. My hydrangeas have gone bananas this year (thanks to all the late Spring rain we had). I’m trying my hand at propagating some new ones (via this method).

08. Last but not least, my daughter received her Yr 12 results and absolutely smashed it. So proud of her.
Congrats to your daughter!
I’ve seen a lot of the Wankernomic clips on Insta so went out and bought the book. It’s so funny! 🤣
The way my jaw dropped watching that clip from Wankernomics!!! Those are our company’s values!!! We have to share examples of the values every month in our 1-2-1 meetings.
Congrats to your daughter! Well done!
Thanks for the heads-up about Train Dreams. It looks like an outstanding film. William H. Macy is fantastic.
We’re thinking of watching Train Dreams this week.
Congrats to your daughter.
Love Heide. We go there – for lunch, and the exhibitions – at least once every time we go to Melbourne. We park down the bottom so we often visit the river on our walk up from or back down to the car.
Congratulations to your daughter.
I’d forgotten all about Twist of Fate, too. It triggered memories of my early teenage years. Wankernomics triggered something, too, but I’m less inclined to think about that!
