In previous years, I’ve posted a list of all the books that I’m aware of that are eligible for the Stella Prize. And then followed it up with a post of my predictions. Unfortunately, I’m seriously pressed for time at the moment and none of that happened.

I’ve read two (de Kretser and Cheng), and have a couple more in the reading stack (Abdu, Macguire, Hardcastle, and Simpson).
The shortlist will be announced on April 8 and the winner on May 23.
The only one I’ve heard of is the de Krester. I’d be keen to read it as I really enjoyed Springtime: A Ghost Story
Probably too early to make a call but I really loved The Burrow – might not have made it to your shores yet but if it does, it’s worth seeking out.

Just not keeping up with the zeitgeist!

Only seen a review of The Burrow! So many books !
I listened to an audio of The Burrow – suspect if I’d had a hard copy I would have underlined dozens of beautiful lines.
