Lovely evening out with my dearest friends – funny how you can plan something with zero notice and it all works out and there are other times where you have to plot months in advance to make it happen! Friday night was the perfect, last-minute get together (at the new-to-me Lennox Wine Bar. This might have been consumed).
03. Have had fun listening to lots of ABBA (just finished a biography about them – review to come).
04. Holiday planning – Hobart. Again. 2025.

Flowers are especially valued as winter approaches! When I lived in New York City and was confronted by absurd prices, I often comforted myself with three things that were reasonable (relatively speaking): cut flowers, dry cleaning, and mani/pedis. You had to look carefully at the flowers to be sure they wouldn’t die the next day, however!
Agree with you about flowers. I buy them for myself but that’s not as joyous as having them bought for me.
