01. A week of perfect beach weather.
02. New favourite bakery alert! A shame it’s an hour from Melbourne). The capsicum and olive focaccia was sensational, as were the egg, spinach and feta tarts.
03. Delicious meal at Banksia Wine Room but the highlight was a side dish – chargrilled broccolini with pumpkin and pickled rhubarb. So good.
04. Watched: Saltburn – it’s a bit ridiculous (!) but I was totally engrossed.
05. Also saw the Mean Girls reboot – a good laugh
06. Have had some big Blokus tournaments this week.
07. Always like spotting the Young Endeavour (especially since my son sailed on it in 2020).

Lovely Kate BUT I clicked on your link to that bakery to see where it was, and found that it’s temporarily closed due to a fire. I’m presuming you didn’t know that which suggests it must have just happened OR the website is one of those that is’t regularly updated.
Thanks, I have adjusted the link. It’s Miller’s Bread Kitchen in Dromana. I think their Mornington shop (Cantina) was damaged by fire and is temporarily closed.
I had a similar broccolini side dish at a brew house in Canada last year and couldn’t stop talking about it! Looking forward to Mean Girls too!!
