01. A few days at Phillip Island with a dear friend. Wonderfully restorative.
02. Watching: Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy (SBS), so I’ve bookmarked this and this. And I got totally sucked in to the Murdaugh Murders (Netflix).
03. Saw Culture Club last night. Initially worried that Boy George had selected too much new stuff (boo!) but then the Church of the Poison Mind and Wham’s I’m Your Man mix set the tone for the rest of the evening (excellent).

04. Really loved seeing all the people who had dressed up for the Culture Club concert – a reminder of how influential Boy George was in terms of fashion (I for one had a number of long cotton shirts, worn under my Jakpak jacket).
05. Bit obsessed with these crackers.
06. And a little (92,000 people) collective efflorescence. Go Blues!

I loved the Tucci series. He has an enviable metabolism!
‘Enviable metabolism’ made me laugh out loud!
Phillip Island is the best!
And thanks for reminding me what Jakpak jackets are called. I was trying to explain them to a much younger colleague recently but because I couldn’t remember what they were called I had trouble doing a Google image search 😆
My Jakpak was white, hot pink and cobalt blue. I LOVED it, and so wish I’d held onto it.
Mine was the same. And I used to wear a hot pink dropped waist skirt (I made myself out of windcheater material) with it 😆
The Tucci series was just wonderful. He has a lovely natural way of talking to people so they feel so relaxed with him and that makes the programme so much more effective
Outstanding series (and planning my next holiday to Italy!).
