A very quiet week as still in recovery mode.
01. Piccolina’s delicious gelato answer to the box of Roses.
02. Watching:
- The Girl from Plainville (Stan) – gripping, and counting down until the next episode.
- Something About Pam (9Live) – meh – the podcast was better.
- Selling Sunset (Netflix) – so many questions, mostly about roll-necks worn with shorts in hot LA weather…
- The Pharmacist (Netflix) – excellent (chosen because I’m in the middle of Patrick Radden Keefe’s Empire of Pain).
03. Marina Abramovic’s mindfulness range. She’s so wonderfully weird.
04. I’m obsessed with smocking atm.
05. Listening: Kylie teams with Gloria Gaynor.
The Great British Sewing Bee is back on TV so I’m probably about to become obsessed with smocking too 😀

No. 4: I saw that dress and was rather taken. So much to like EXCEPT it’s blue and I prefer not to do blue. Blue jeans, I can tolerate but after that, nope. (I do like blue on others but for some reason just can’t take to it.)
I don’t remember roll necks being around much when I was in Southern California – too hot, usually, even in winter which was so mild – but I think they are coming back. BTW Your comment mirrors mine when I see young women in winter here with warm coverings up top and then bare legs and sometimes open-toed shoes – brrr. Don’t get it.
