01. My avocado seed finally has a tap root!
02. Dadi Freyr socks.
03. Watched: Starstruck (ABC iView) – absolutely loved this.
04. Watching: the Olympics and about to start the (obviously trashy) Dr Death, on the basis that the podcast was interesting.
05. Enjoying other bloggers’ Booker Prize prediction posts (for example, here and here).
06. Home stretch on my current round of study – have just started my final unit.
07. Looking ahead in the diary to some excellent plans (a Christmas in July dinner, Once the musical, Melbourne International Film Festival, a forest therapy walk, two trips…). Covid-willing, of course.
I couldn’t decide whether to watch Starstruck even though I like Rose Matafeo – as you enjoyed it I think I’ll give it a try!
I more than enjoyed it. In fact, there was so much I probably missed, I’ll rewatch at some point.
Thanks for the Booker link, Kate, and I hope your avocado seed delivers the goods!
Melbourne isn’t really the climate for avocados but I’m hoping if I get it started inside, it will one day produce (guacamole).
Enough for avocado icecream. Trust me, it’s divine.
I will really, really have to take your word on that!
LOL My neighbour who (when not in lockdown) has dinner with us every week, expressed similar reservations. She tried it only out of good manners. Now she keeps asking me to make it again!
Dr Death was good. I just finished it last night. Really loved Christain Slayer in it.
Slater not Slayer. I really want this auto correct to be gone!! 🤦♀️
OMG! The auto correct spelt his first name wrong too!! 😡
