Book.
- Because it’s one of the few thrillers I’ve read that truly kept me guessing until the end (it was all more ‘obvious’ in the television series).
- Yvonne’s interior monologue explained some of her choices (those same choices looked shaky on film).
I’ve not read the book, but although I really like Emily Watson I lost patience with the TV series, I felt it could have been one episode shorter. It sounds like the pacing was better in the book.
Agree, it did feel like it was a bit too long. The book was very good (as far as thrillers go).
