    • The one aspect of this particular book that I really enjoyed was the short stories within the story (one of the main characters is a writer). Ordinarily, I don’t like stories within stories (the last book I read that used this technique was Q by Evan Mandery and it let the novel down) but these stories are gripping! I’ll probably give The Children Act a go now.
