One of the very best things I’ve discovered through blogging is like-minded readers. You might be thinking, ‘Well, derrrr’ but for me, it was an unexpected bonus.
One such lovely blogger is Annabel Smith, who also happens to be an accomplished author (if you’re searching for titles for the Australian Women Writers reading challenge, consider Whisky Charlie Foxtrot and A New Map of the Universe).
Annabel runs a feature on her blog called Friday Faves – each week she invites someone bookish to share one of their all-time favourite works of fiction, and why it’s so special to them. I was thrilled when Annabel asked me to share one of my favourites. Pop on over to Annabel’s blog and see which book I picked.
Congratulations, Katrina!
This was such a sweet entry. I love how you share something with your son that you experienced and enjoyed as a child with your father. Great post!!
Thank you!
I know what you mean, I didn’t think I’d find any like minded readers – it’s been a nice surprise. When I first started blogging, all I initially found was YA blogs (not bad, just not what interested me!).
Agree! I wonder if all the YA bloggers will keep blogging when they move on from YA?!
