One more from the German Film Festival this week – Two to One, a true story from the reunification process, when East German citizens had mere days to exchange their East German Ostmarks for new Deutschmarks. During that time, a group of citizens discovered a stash of millions of Ostmarks, and went about becoming rich with an elaborate scheme. It’s a crazy story.
04. Watching: Dying for Sex (Disney). I’m only a few episodes in but feels like a very real take on a terminal diagnosis, caring for someone who is at end of life, and palliative care.
