
01. I have had a huge stressful week of big stuff –
- two family members returned from overseas (one was holidaying in the Philippines, and one in New Zealand);
- my son received his VCE results and was extremely happy with the outcome (and I am very proud of how hard he worked);
- and the same son had a major surgery that has been a long time in the planning. Thankfully it went smoothly.
Me? I’m wrecked! Was a good week to practice all of the anxiety-management stuff I talk to clients about!

04. Absolute bangers at NLNL this week including Freedom, Like a Prayer (one of my favourite songs to dance to) and this blast from the past by Melissa –
05. When I was dancing to that song in nightclubs (in the nineties), I would have been drinking Midori Illusions. Just so happens that I had some arrive from Curatif this week – as delicious as ever. The thing I love best about Curatif is the narrative that comes with each cocktail. With the Illusion –
06. Watching: Wunderlust (Netflix) – not completely loving it, with the exception of when the main character visits her therapist.
07. When you get a new gadget and you realise how useless the one you’ve been using for years actually was.
08. Listening: Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
