November is the month for #ALLTHEREADING and Nonfiction November is back with a full schedule of topics to focus our nonfiction reading.
- Week 1 (Oct. 27 to Nov. 2) Your Year in Nonfiction hosted by Heather at Based on a True Story
- Week 2 (Nov. 3 to 9) Choosing Nonfiction hosted by Frances at Volatile Rune
- Week 3 (Nov. 10 to 16) Book Pairings hosted by Liz at Adventures in Reading, Running and Working from Home
- Week 4 (Nov. 17 to 23) Diverse Perspectives hosted by Rebekah at She Seeks Nonfiction
- Week 5 (Nov. 24 to 30) New to my TBR hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz
My nonfiction reading is generally dominated by memoir but I manage to pepper it with other books, usually to do with water 🙂
My only ‘plan’ for this year is for week two, ‘Choosing Nonfiction’. I’m aiming to tick a couple of work-related grief texts that I’ve had on my shelf for ages, notably:
- The Grieving Brain by Mary Frances O’Connor
- Personal Grief Rituals by Paul M. Martin
- The Good Death Through Time by Caitlin Mahar
- Finding Meaning by David Kessler
- It’s Ok That You’re Not Ok by Megan Devine
- The AfterGrief by Hope Edelman
- The In-Between by Hadley Vlahos
- Death Glitch by Tamara Kneese
- The Future Loves You by Ariel Zeleznikow-Johnston
So I’ll be a ball of fun to be around in November!
But regardless of the topic, I somehow manage to finish Nonfiction November with a bunch of books added to the TBR stack.
