My MWF 2022 Reading List

 

The Melbourne Writers Festival program has been released. I’ve booked lots of sessions and realised that I will have to get busy reading in order to be across the books that the authors will be speaking about. On my reading list:

What should I start with?

  1. Save the Winman for when you need an antidote to something dark and depressing. I’m just reading it now, a welcome ‘light read’ after the horror of Death in Spring by Mercé Rodoreda. I’m about half way through and apart from some briefly dark moments which are skated over, it seems like a British fantasy of Life in Tuscany (wine, good food, great scenery, lovely people and art).
