05. The Burch & Purchese masterclass on meringues, curds and creams included a recipe for Darren’s gin and tonic pavlova. It’s now on my to-do list.
06. And speaking of all things delicious, we had a Holy Sugar delivery yesterday (baked lemon meringue tart; cinnamon vanilla French crullers; kumquat cake with whisky buttercream).
07. Ordinarily, the CloudSpotter team either verify or reject your submissions and you don’t hear anything else. Last week I got a message – “You made a crazy capture of fog in the lamp light!” (the pic was taken at footy training). Must admit, I was pleased with myself when I took it!
Those cakes are works of art! (I think I may have said something similar about your previous Holy Sugar deliveries, but they really are stunning)

Overall, Australia is going very, very slowly on vaccinations. Makes the prospect of travel a long way off.
