Sometimes, when you have an international tourist destination on your doorstep (relatively speaking…), you forget that it’s there to enjoy.
Last week, we reminded ourselves of such a place and visited Lorne, Cape Otway, Great Otway National Park and Port Campbell National Park.
We drove the hairpin bends of the Great Ocean Road for coastal views and wound our way through the tall Mountain Ash forest of the Otways.
We scaled great heights at the Cape Otway Lighthouse and the Otway Treetop Walk.
The grey skies added to the drama of our ocean views. A lovely week.
Great pics, love them. Thanks for sharing!
Hadn’t been down that way for so long Jenny! Much busier than last time I was there (15 years ago). We went because my eldest son, who has such a travel bug, wanted to go on one of the ‘World’s Best Ocean Drives’ 🙂
Love that area. We honeymooned there. Miss P is getting so tall!
She’s all legs, bless her socks…
Great photos. One of my favourite coast lines as well
Spectacular and those grey skies added to the atmosphere
Augh. Gorgeous.
Beautiful scenery, and great photos!
It’s so beautiful. All this limitless space!
Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing. I hope to do this drive again one day soon.
Gorgeous and very atmospheric.
