I have some April and May ARCs in my TBR stack – which one should I read first?
Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld – a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice – retellings can be dicey but I’m in safe hands with Sittenfeld, right?
Alice & Oliver by Charles Bock – I think it’s a ‘cancer story‘. Literally.
Miller’s Valley by Anna Quindlen – a coming-of-age story set in a farming community.
Tuesday Night in 1980 by Molly Prentiss – New York in the eighties, what’s not to love?
I’ve been hearing a lot about Eligible but I’m more curious about Tuesday Night in 1980. Hope you enjoy it!
I saw lots of initial publicity for Eligible but I haven’t read any meaty reviews as yet… Which makes me a little nervous!
I chose Millers Valley solely based on the cover. I have discerning taste like that….
Just as good a reason as any!
