  2. I also recently read this and REALLY liked it a whole lot! The author is from where I live, and is doing a reading and signed event the day of release in a local indie bookstore, so I’m pumped to meet her and get my book signed!

    • Must say, my tear ducts operate on a hair trigger but this one didn’t make me cry despite the subject matter – I suspect because the main character is very funny (very dry sense of humour) and the fact that it switched between the past and present so you don’t get too involved.
